Hi there, I'm taking a recent accident on my bike as a good reason to fix all of the little cosmetic problems that are wrong with him. One of the ugliest problems is my exhaust. Lots of the paint has been scrached off or has heated up to much and just gone all together. I was thinking of some matt black BBQ paint as a good cheap way to re-spray it. Has anyone tryed this, or have any experience with this sort of paint? Or has anyone have any other suggestions for paints?

ta very much like Smile

Yeah any of that heat proof paint will work a treat, just get rid of the rust and degrease it before painting it Smile

Just finished painting the whole thing today. You were spot on with the price. It says that it can cope with heats up to 500 degrees C. It's on a Tw125, so a 4-stroke engine - anyone know how hot it's likely to get?

cheers! Smile
