Rather unfortunate CCM may be tanks but they are good bikes for what they do, Can't believe they've gone bust though! ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

Well to be honest it was a matter of time before this happened, unfortunatly theres not a alot of money in the niche motorcycle market.
The only reason why the major manufacturers survive is cos they have loads of different motorcycle people can choose, sadly CCM didn't.
It's basically the same thing that happened in the 70's with BSA, Truimph etc, they didn't expand/update the range fast enough to keep up with the Japanese manufacturers, while the british were making Inline Twins the Japs were bringing out Inline 4' s and even 6's.
By the time they did catch up it was far too late and the money pot dried up.
And alas the same has happened to CCM. .
Hopefully though someone may save them, come on Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha, how about a nice niche off-road division? . |
