I am waiting for a slip on to arrive - When I fit it do I need any goo to get a gas tight seal (link pipe / downpipe) or does it all go together dry.

You will probably need some exhaust paste, which i think you can buy from Halfords

As fair as I am aware, you don't *need* any gasket/sealant, but it's up to you whether you put some on. I didn't, as it's a pretty snug fit anyway.

It all goes together dry.

Just make sure you do it all up nice and tight.
