Itunes Being Arsey!

Could someone please explain to me why i cant add the films i have on my laptop to my itunes library..?

these films are all in .avi format, play fine through any other program, but will not run through friggin Itunes!

Help much appreciated!

Itunes does not support all formats, it only supports .mp4, .m4v, and .mov

Welcome to the world of itunes, I don't think anyone actually uses it to watch movies?

Use VLC

You need to convert them to the iPod friendly video format i'm afraid. Something like Videora Converter is the way to go (google it).
