notifications of friends or enemies

I was wondering if it was handy for any other users on the forum, when someone adds you as a friend or enemy that you get some sort of notification. I'm not too sure if this has been mentioned before, I did search for it but found nothing. I only say this as a few people have added me as friends and i've only noticed when i've been checking things on my profile.

I don't reckon there should be a system which notifies you, as what difference does it make if someone considers you and enemy or a friend? You should be setting people as a friend or enemy on your view of them not only doing this when they do it. Having it so it told you when you have a new friend or enemy would be encouraging people to only do new friends/ enemy rating when someone set them as friend or enemy. There have been people doing this, by setting as many people as possible to be their friend hoping that they'd set them as a friend as well, which is not the point of the system.

Yeah in a way I'd agree with you on some of those points, it's just i've had people add me as a friend and then an enemy, and I just thought what with was going on with the 'invasion' I was classed as an enemy then a friend, and at first I didn't know why they'd classed me as an enemy, it's a suggestion to do with the timing of when they do it. Hey ho I just thought i'd ask people's opinions.
