It should do. Why they normally have a steel brace built in.

It holds the forks straight and stops them warping, could make the tyre go funny..

Mine is just plastic without any bracing - suppose it depends on the bike.


I'd ride it anyway though tbh, biggest concern I'd have would be about stone chips.

I believe, from looking it up cos the c90 one was shagged, that you don't have to have one for an MOT but you do legally need one for the road. Construction & use rules or similar.
