When I leave Otterburn I usually take the road on the left and head to Rothbury Thumbs Up

Although the route you went on is a fast road Wink

I guess the speed at 155 - 160.

It is a very fast not very twisty road that eggs you on to top speed. Until they scatter gravel on it, to 'fix' the road?! (about 10mins before Otterburn now)

Might start going down the road you mention if it is twistier, that road is fun but is often traffic heavy and if a police car were there when we were on it it wouldn't go down well.

Where as on the twistier stuff you rarely get over 60 anyway or you can take the straights slowly, but this road the corners are 100mph+ for the majority. Even the "30mph max" corner I can take at 70-80 and I'm not particularly quick if you look at me doing this run in the other thread.

The road to Rothbury is twistie, but if you don't know it take your time (B6341) Thumbs Up

There are a few corners that WILL catch you out the first few times you ride it. Also watch out on the road I take for farm traffic and mud on the roads Thumbs Up

It is the same road only going the other way.

Do you ever turn off at Otterburn and go to Kielder via the mill? Pretty boring road for the first 8 miles or so.

138mph, roughly.

It took 13 seconds from the half mile marker to the junction, meaning you'd cover a mile in 26 seconds, or 2.3 miles in a minute.

If you do it at the 100yard markers for 200 yards you get 201mph lol. Its not that quick though.
