One of the reasons I stick with BCF

In the past I've recommended www.ukcampsite.co.uk as a good resource for information on tents, sites and equipment. Recently I've noticed posts going missing, and then complete threads.

Anything that has vaguely negative leanings (I pointed out a local campsite is situated next to a sewerage treatment plant and when the wind is in the wrong direction it's vile) is trimmed out. Anything negative about products that are advertised on the site, and you lose your login.

I've posted asking the moderators what subjects need avoiding so I don't waste my time posting something that will disappear, and guess what, that post got deleted too.

I've now found it seems this has gone on for some time :-

It's a shame really, the campsite finder section is still handy, but the site and tent reviews need to be taken with a huge pinch of salt, as it all leans towards the happy-clappy.
