Best country...

I have the opportunity to go abroad in the next week or two for a cuple of days. Anyone know what the best country is for good,cheap motorbike gear?
I need boots, gloves and maybe leathers! I was thinking of the US, Germany, Italy or France. So which is best?

any other country will be cheaper, just avoid buying helmets from abroad not sure but that might be illegal ?

Hi

Most other non UK helmets would be illegal in the UK (along with the visors), but to be honest I have been using an Australian helmet for the last few years with no hassle. Really it just gives them an excuse to do you if you wind them up.

Dont quote me on this but I belive as part of the EU any Helmet bought in an EU country with the relevant EU number on (the equivalent to the British Kite mark or whatever standard ) is legal in this country, as long as the minimum standard is met!

I know my helmet doesn't have a british safety number just an EU one and this is perfectly acceptable!

just do a bit of homework first and you'll be fine
