It’s more annoying if they can speak English perfectly well, and they speak it occasionally and the drop into Polish when they feel it’s needed. It’s rude and shitty at the same time.

What’s even more annoying than that? Two guys at work, one English and one from Dubai. Both speak English as their first language. They’ll come into the office and start speaking French. Loudly.

I was in Burger King about a month ago. I was served by A korean woman (she looked korean anyway), she was about 40 looked normal, was manager. Anyway gets to the till she says "yes", I gave her my order she took it down fine. Puts her hand out for the money not telling me how much it was. I gave her a tenner, she got the change and said "there" and slammed the money down on the counter. I said thanks, picked it up and waited for my food. I just assumed she was going through the change or something and being ignorant. She then served the next customer, a young chinese lass probablys a uni student. She was uber polite to her, asking if she wanted any sauce and all this shit. My food came and she pushed the tray towards me and said "there" again. I was like wtf. Went back a couple of days ago and she has gone, asked the lass working where she is and she said she was sacked after numerous complaints from customers lol.

My local spar was supermarket sized and everybody who worked there was polish. They even sold polish beer, vodka and newspapers. I met 1 guy who worked there who wasn't polish, he fucking hated it as they all refused to speak english

At least polish is a proper language, not like fucking welsh. I get sick of people spitting welsh at me and expecting me to have a clue. Old women screaching welsh at the top of their high pitched voices as they feel they have the god given right / duty to be as loud about speaking welsh as possible. Worst is the parents who teach their kids nothing but welsh. I've met a few teenagers who struggle like hell to speak english because of this. When half the world is despirate to learn english, is it not retarded not to teach your kids i when they are lucky enough to live in a country where it is the first language?
