Firstly read here: - https://www.cbrd.co.uk/interchanges/cloverleaf.shtml

Drove on one for the first time today, the one in Redditch the A441/A448/A4189 interchange. It was only in my Golf, but I did all four loops in one go, was a bit dizzy but the screeching of the tyres and the traction control light flickering on the dash was mighty fun.

Especially as the car isn't mine and I don't pay for tyres Laughing

Must say that must be awesome on a bike, kneedown heaven surely. Just as good in a RWD car as well if don't mind touching cloth.

I suppose it's useful for the roundabout surfers to use their left knee slider Laughing

Broke in my new tires (well, the left hand side!) on that very roundabout about 2 months ago, thing is there is quite a bit of loose gravel about meaning only 2 of the turns give you any confidence to really lean it in. Got the right side chicken strips down to less than half an inch on the new roundabouts opened up around the new 'super hospital' in selly oak.

Bloody stealth roundabout on the 4040, nearly killed myself on that. Hadn't been up that way in a while (I ive just around the corner from there) and was on my way over to Kings Heath to pick up a Chinese. Came out of Reservoir road, u-turn around the centre and take off up the hill like a scalded cat as there was traffic coming. Looking in my mirror to make sure the Subaru behind me wasn't going too fast. Hit 60 or so just in time to look up and see a roundabout on the brow of the hill where a smooth corner had once been. I still reckon the only reason I didn't crash was the fact my exhaust is on the left, there was enough clearance on the bike to lean it enough to get her around.

Left bends as well. I prefer the left. Need to find one around this way.
