Hi

X ring chain will last a touch longer than an O ring, in theory, but probably not much difference compared to the effect of your care of the chain.

Gold is just for tarty effects.

An alloy rear sprocket will be lighter, but probably not really that relevant on a road bike, especially as it will wear out more quickly.

All the best

Keith
