Ladies and gentlemen of the Jury... I put it to you that...

We should unleash the SPAMHAMMER!!!

(Ross Noble, he's like a comedian and that... can be funny but using an 'internet marketing consultant' to spam our forums isn't cool.)

Ross noble will not be spamming a bike forum for his gigs, he has no need, he sells out all over the uk, NZ and aus and has numerous tv appearances to his name, most notably recently jonathan ross.

But yes, he's a biker and does a lot for riders for health. Quality guy... and I'm seeing him on the 30th!

Put your spam hammer away marj, it's not needed here.

I don't know about the charity entirely, but they certainly, I believe, encourage questionable 'sponsoring' systems - where people request 'sponsors' for a motorcycle trip, but under half of the money goes to riders for Health to use, the rest paying for the trip.

If the charity gets money it wouldnt have got otherwise, why not reward the person for bringing in the money ?

Admittedly sponsors may assume all their money is going to the cause...

This. A lot of such things (I can't comment on their efforts recently) encourage people to request the money from sponsors without making it clear they are paying for them to enjoy a holiday with some going to charity.

The real winners are the people that run the trips, often.

It doesn't take much effort to slag things off. It is easy to feel good by putting something else down with zero effort.
To some it is just like eating a chocolate bar or smoking a ciggy, quick, easy, short term feel good, but can have a long term negative side effects.
