 |
|
Having made the mistake of leaving the logbook of the NSR I sold in the car of the buyer when he gave me a lift to the station, I was fairly surprised to receive the V5 sent back to me as the new owner had sent it off but failed to put his address on it!! rather cleverly my wife deleted the ebay messages with his name and address and I now have no way of contacting the guy other than the vague recollection that the guys name is Rodrigo and lives in Oxford!! I suppose I am now banking on the fact that he will claim the V5c using his new keepers section and yes I know i've been a twat! I have bought and sold many cars and never managed this feat of idiocy before
still at least so far I haven't had any tickets through
Is there a way of checking who owns the bike with the reg no? ____________________ Pitslayer wrote "it could be Ndubz.....ruining this once great place with donkey gobbling loafer knobbing "music".

I think the intention is to find out if the op is still regd as keeper or if new owner has regd it.
What about ebay selling history, go through your seller account, the invoice will have item number, go to the item and contact buyer
That is if you didn't do it as an off ebay sale, then it's all lost.
Could phone dvla to tell them and make note of all details of the call, name, date and time etc to cover your backside in case anything happened with the bike ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse? his phone is no longer in use, its clearly a conspiracy that I have cleverly concocted whilst living as an alter ego.....or I am being punished for generally being a bit shit with paperwork in all aspects of life (I am currently doing all of my '08-'09 accounting) ____________________ Pitslayer wrote "it could be Ndubz.....ruining this once great place with donkey gobbling loafer knobbing "music".

Log onto you ISP's homepage, select emails from there and you'll usually find copies of all your sent and received messages.
For example, my ISP is Sky and I use Outlook. If I log onto www.sky.com and select emails I can see all my messages, regardless of the fact I use Outlook. |

stuartadair, that's only if you're using your isp's email in some weird ass configuration.
It's just easier to admit that you've been a bit special to the DVLA ____________________ Benson: Wouldn't life be easier if we were all turtles?
