Well i still have problems with my bike running like its on one cylinder, it was only idling with choke. Now the spark plugs have been changed and the carbs cleaned out and fresh petrol put in. It now idles lovely and from there up to 6k rpm it pulls and anything above it seems like its running on one and stutterin. The fuel tank petcock valve doesn't seem to be working also. Any ideas? bike is hyosung gt125r.

i gather you have a vacume fuel tap (on - reserve - prime)
and it only runs on prime??
if thats the case then i'd assume the hose that goes from the carbs to the fuel tap has come loose or has a hole/split which in turn is giving you a air leak to the carbs hence making it run funny, and also makes it that it only delivers fuel in the prime position,

have a look at that and report back Very Happy

Well when i take the tank off it pisses fuel everywhere. Normally it would not leak out of the valve thing the fuel pipes connected to.

I'd try the air filter also.

When was it last serviced either way... mine was a piece of crap until it was actually fully serviced.

What run it without the air filter for a short distance?

And it was last serviced roughly 3,000 miles ago in march.

Had a ride today and it's idling lovely and sounds fine. Cleaned the air filter as it's a bmc one similar to a k&n. It now feels like it's bogging down throughtout the rev range, like the engine is being flooded with fuel. Fuel lines are all intact. Just the petcock is always set to prime. Fuel floods out when I take the tank off.
