Well here is the story my plan as you know what to possibly get a VFR however as I currently had a NT650V Deauville I thought it would have been easier to trade thsi in instead of the Deaville.

So more or less done swap bike for bike .

So took a 600 mile run yesterday after my 13 hour night shift (Bloody clocks going back) to pick this up so it will be a bit dirty.

When riding it home it was a bit of a shock as much in my head said i do not like these bikes but i bloody loved it so it is here to stay!!!!!

It has the full exhaust system will get this clean as soon as possible.

New tyres , chain etc. so all thats left for me to do is to put a new cover on the seat which i have ordered today.

Will get some pics the day as nice and sunny here today and will give it a good clean

Looks very tidy, they're nice bikes.

Either the bodywork, or frame colour isn't standard. (Probably both).

But that's a good thing, the paint finish on the frame is poor, where your legs rub, it rubs the paint clean through before long.

I sorta miss my Bandit 600S as a commuter bike.

Looks much better in that picture, didn't realise the frame had the glittery effect.

I really like these.

Proper tempted with one for when I pass my test, they any good?

I always fancied a Hornet, but after seeing my CBT instructors bikes, (Hornet & 2 Bandits) I think I prefer these now.

(Awaits abuse from the Hornet brigade Sad )

Fair play to you man, enjoy it Smile

Cheers,
Steve.

Well i did not want this bike it was only to be a stepping stone to a GSX750F but......................... the ride up the road was brilliant nippy little thing strange from the Deauville so just going to keep it.

Just now looking at getting bar end mirrors , cargo net, white lights, clear indicator lenses for the front and a digital clock for it so keeping this one.

Yes its not as quick as these sports bikes but i love it , get me about the town and out in the country with a smile on my face.

Only downside for me is the wind up here is bad out in the country and it is hard going but apart from that its all good.

They're heavier than a hornet, and slightly slower.

They are a little bit taller with a wider seat, so the Hornet is better if you're a short arse. Personally I prefer the Bandit to the Hornet and I've extensively ridden both. The Bandit just feels more planted and solid. The Hornet just feels a bit skittish, and it's like you're perched on top of it, rather than riding it.

And the Bandit are a fair bit cheaper.

But then a modified Bandit always looks like a heap of shite, whereas a modified Hornet often looks much better than standard.

Horses for courses. Hornet if you're female.

The man with no taste Razz

Good choice over a GSX750F, but the VFR is something altogether better.

Have you seen the prices of Hornets lately? Market seems to have hit rock bottom.

I could be well out of date, my figures are coming from when I bought my Bandit about 5 years ago. When you couldn't even get a shitty Hornet for less than about £1200, whereas a Bandit was about £800.
