We here in the U.S. are facing legislation that may place radar cameras (affectionately called Gatsos by you brits) on many of our
major roadways... what a drag.

You'll see that MOST of the younger guys riding Harleys here pack heat when they ride... kind of unnerving because they are usually out drinking too... Many a roadsign has been peppered by pistols out in the back country when these blokes think they are the old cavalry or something.

I actually saw some arsehole doing 70 on an exit ramp on a Hiyabusa answering his cell phone the other day, no helmet, cut off sleveless shirt, no gloves... Moron. We inaffectionately refer to those kind of folks as "Squids".

It was 164mph, which, considering they had to use 70 grands worth of car, isn't too out of reach of the sports bikes and some of the others too.

30.06 has a longer range than ANY speed camera..... could just put a round thru the camera lens from 1/2 mile away... my .303 Enfield would probably knock the damn thing clean off the mount...
