Thank Fk for that! Now perhaps we can stop harping on about it! We cant afford it anyways.

David Cameron is saying the country is in a terrible state. Truth is we cant afford the London Olympics and god knows how we are going to afford the rugby world cup in 2015 let alone funding the football one a few years afterwards!

Fear not, come 2018 you'll still be able to get pissed out of your face, blart how proud you are to be English, be acceptably racist, slot in a good punch up and be in denial of how shite the England football team are just as you did this year.

England were never going to clinch it, we never enough funds for the backhander, david cameron et al had already got their trotters into that money sack.

Thank gawd. I'm sick of hearing about the fucking 2012 Olympics. It would have been unbearable if England had got the 18 WC. Russia and Qatar have never hosted the world cup so fair play. You know the fucking krauts would have beaten us even at home, so bugger it.

Nah!
FIFA cannot be corrupt, they said they weren't.
Of course I also believe in the tooth fairy, Father Christmas and pixies at the bottom of the garden.
Oh, and Stalin and Hitler were really nice guys who were just a little misunderstood and you'd trust them to babysit anytime.

Gee... Didnt see that one coming...

It is a shame that by the look of the doc the other night, we most likely lost the bid to back handers and anti english sentiments.

I think this is a shocking decision and I wholeheartedly agree with Cameron's speech about how we have the best atmosphere and the best fans..

..I mean look at how the true british football fans even brought Distress flares to the birmingham riot *cough* match fixture last night just incase this inclement weather we're facing got so bad during the match as to require a mountain rescue expedition..

Look at the way all those fans with the true spirit of the game at heart rushed over to comiserate the other team's fans, what wonderful ambassadors to Fifa those people were on the eve of the vote to decide the venue of the world cup.

*shrug* I wish I could get excited about football in any way, but then again I quite like knowing that the actual design of the Union Jack doesn't feature a JJB Sports logo in one corner Smile

Hmmm, Russia.
Wasn't there a recent WikiLeak where there was a report from some official familiar with Sicilian Mafia that said you couldn't tell where the government finished and the Russian Mafia started. I think it also said the government used the mafia to do things that a government shouldn't be seen to be doing.

...but no, nothing corrupt or inappropriate going on here, move along.

Same as the CIA then. The US unofficially had a deal with the mafia during WW2. The CIA have used mafia ties, personnel and services, especially during their plans to topple Castro, where the mafia lost lots of Casino income after the fall of Batista, and what Richard Milhouse Nixon called "that whole Bay of Pigs thing" that occured on 22.11.1963. Plausible deniability is great for getting away with murder, quite literally.

Oh come on then, not that much.
I'm sure you could win as much on a Euro Millions rollover jackpot raffle lottery.
I'm also sure somebody using statistics and a powerpoint presentation could show that'd only keep the NHS running for half and hour.

You've gotta laugh really!

FIFA and specifically Sepp Blatter have been rebuffing corruption allegations for the last 25 years.
As far as I know they, (FIFA), have never managed to sue anyone for false allegations.

On an unrelated matter, what do the following countries have in common?
Tajikistan,
Dem. Rep. Congo
Guinea
Kyrgyzstan
Venezuela
Angola
Equatorial Guinea
Burundi
Chad
Sudan
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan
Iraq
Afghanistan
Burma
Somalia

Answer:-
According to Transparency International's 2009 Corruption Perceptions Index, out of the 178 countries in the survey, they are the only ones that are more corrupt than Russia.

Draw your own conclusions!
