Just wondering if anybody can help, i have no heating in the flat or hot water. The boiler played up once before and the plumber sorted it but i can't get hold of the plumber that the landlady uses to come and fix it and i aint paying for somebody to come out today out of my back pocket. Can anybody give me some help to get it going again?

Aha well i have no flame in the window, there's meant to be a reset button on top. But as far as i can tell the button doesn't press in.

If the button wont push in then it prolly doesnt need resetting.

you will have to light the pilot light for the boiler to work.

you should be able to find the manual online if there are no labels on the boiler explaining how to do so.

Doggone that's what i'm worried about lol I'll have a look how to get the pilot light going as there's no flame in the little window.

It's a worcester not sure on the model i'll see if i can find out. . I held the reset button down for a few seconds the boiler gurgled then the flame ignited so i'm guessing it's going again now. Just waiting to see if the radiators warm up

it was probably a blocked condensate, which has defrosted and unblocked.

Confused It has been fine through all the real cold weather don't think it went below freezing last night. Not sure if that was the problem but i don't know i aint a plumber lol. Anyway the radiators are hot now so it's all sorted i think.

Apparently your problems could stem from the fan or the pump. Hopefully it will have sorted itself out.

BTW your boiler doesn't have a pilot light it is electronic ignition.
