well i still waiting for a fine to come through from when i had my scoot and i went throug at 55mph in a 40 mph zone. i been waiting for 3 months now, looks like its no coming, oh well.....

Scotty, if you got flashed from a camera in front of you then it wouldn't have got ure number plate (no plate on the front). It's only from behind you'll get done for.

If someone was speeding on a bike and had no license then i'd say they deserve whatever's coming.

well if you havent got a license all you have to do is claim you wernt riding it, a friend you recently met borrowed it for a day, you cant remember his name and havent seen him for quite a while, oh what was his name again??

sorry i did get flashed from behind.
And i can understand about the camera playing up, i mean i wouldnt belive a scoot was doing that. i know the git flashed its not to hard to see it. (was at night).

I never knew about the 14 day thing. although it did make me slow down for speed cameras the few days after.

AFAIK if you don't have a licence you can get a 6 month Ban. And unless the bike's reported stolen at the time u were flashed it's ur responsibility.

im not too sure i was speeding too much i think they allow 10% error so 66MPH is ok in a 60MPH area. However my speedo isnt working so im just guessing at how fast i was going. I didnt see the thing flash but it was day time. I was asking out of curiousity really and like i said it is very hyperthetical

Well scooters aint as slow as you think guys.... when i had a Peugeot Speedfight 50cc (back in the day ) deresticted i got it to 55mph, and i'm 11 stone....

The 14 day rule isn't as plain as it seems. Aparently, the police can bring it back to court if you were going more than a certain percentage over the speed limit, they have 6 months to do this.

They have 6 months after pulling you up personally. The 14 day rule (that they must have posted it that it would normally be expected to arrive within 14 days) applies to gatso shit boxes
