Have you been using a multi-meter to check that there is a current able to running through it for continuity?

Yes when doing that, the new battery i put on was saying it was completely dead, when i disconnected the solenoid it was fully charged hence replacing the solenoid, but still done it with the new solenoid in it, hence why i replaced the wiring loom as the connecting cap to the main 30A fuse was corroded, but still the same problem, i also have 2 little black boxes under the dash with prongs on which i am not sure why they are there as i havent seen them on a gpz before, also there was an extra wire connected in to the ignition wires which i took out and connected it all properly

There is a main fuse, seperate from the fuse box on the GPZ - have you checked this is present and ok?

Failing that, check with a multimeter until you get to where the power stops. If current's making it out of the battery, my money's on the negative terminal being corroded or loose resulting in no earth at all...

Here's where you can get a copy of your manual for download just in case you don't have one!

Takes a little while to load up but once done it will download at high speed!
