Adjusting the head bearings on a zx6r

Hi all

CAn you give me a quick guide on how to tighten my head bearings on my 99 zx6r?

when you brake on /off at low speeds the handlebars appear to clunk (not lots but noticeable)

Hi

Generally, take off the top yoke. You will find a nut under the yoke which you need to tighten up a bit (normally you tighten them to a certain torque then slacken them off an retighten to a very light torque setting). Then replace the top yoke and tighten the nut on top of the yoke (often to a fairly high torque, easily around 70lb/ft).
