Hey mate,

I lost the GeForce, so I stuck an old 8mb S3 Virge graphics card in it. Not very fast card, but for normal uni stuff like browsing porn, using a basic image editor and word processing etc. it is fine.

Unfortunately, it is the fastest processor available to fit that motherboard.

It does have an AGP slot so you can fit nearly any graphics card if you need to.

I'm not sure about the modem and RAM, I'll check for you and post it up in a bit

OK I just rigged it up, the computer started OK but I had no picture, dont think it was the monitor as it has worked before with this graphics card. I will have a fiddle tomorrow and see if I can get it working.

By the way it has no modem and 1 spare DIMM slot

Did it beep in multiple bursts? The BIOS will give an audio error code usually to let you know what the problem is.

8 short or 1 long and then 3 short for video card

( I have been a PC engineer for a living (dabs.com tech support) for the last 8 years!)
