8 cylinders, 4 Y pieces, 2 exhaust outlets and one bike.

Yes, it's another project thread from me Thumbs Up

I've taken on a pair of tatty NC30's for a friend of a friend, I'll be making one good bike out of them hopefully. One's a K and ones an L model, both with the appropriate suspension

F***WFA:
Originally started out as the donor bike, stolen recovered, the better condition of the 2.
Black and dark red Fireblade-esque paint job
Sansei half system
K model, with the proper suspension, front will probably be used as the chrome is better.

H***ANG:
Mates first bike, now very run down and only really fit for spares, now the donor bike
Tatty Type 5 paint (similar to the type 2 Seed scheme but with the silver and red swapped)
cut stock system
restricted
L model, front forks could be salvaged, but easier to use K model forks. Rear shock will be used if any good.
After market nosecone, small vent under the screen and the r/h headlight has provision for a cover of some sort, possibly silhouette?

I'll be going to start on it tonight or tomorrow before work, so will get pics then, it'll be slow progress, but aim to have it MOT ready inside 6 weeks.

Oh! No!
These NC30 threads are almost as tedius as all them bludy little Super Dreams that are crawling out of the woodwork!
NOW, after the 8>4>2>1 teaser WE DEMAND something like this...
If not a V8, then a W8...
https://bp1.blogger.com/_QH__dNVjdYI/RneZqLYsIvI/AAAAAAAAAOI/kXogg3Kme9E/s320/imgice006.jpg

https://farm2.static.flickr.com/1412/1358838791_0049d0d888.jpg

Not a W4, or even a dragster, but you get the idea...

https://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lbz91bI5Dx1qbhucw.jpg

https://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lbz8fok0Ec1qbhucw.jpg

OK... now google's just chucking up the plain WIERED!

https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ao3uUOVmQo8/SPN6jtjDYeI/AAAAAAAACoA/T5J8rgL_O54/s400/M041000-36Ness-02n.jpg

https://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQSCx2vS53zCFs5geFhcePWNnhNCX9a1GoAGrxpychJ1QK5r0_klQ&t=1

Right, so, its a double engined W8, then, and I reckon, it ought to be a street-fightered, supermotard pit bike.......

Who's good with Photoshop?

How much work have you got to get them working? Do you get to keep what is left over?

well between us we decided that the black bodywork was in better nick so we'll use it, the bike already has a half race system, so can't swap the cans as they're different diameters Sad

Will have an update by sunday, will likely just be cleaning work, but will deffo be nice and clean for it's MOT Smile

I didn;t blank them on purpose, I was just being lazy and couldn't be bothered to go look at the bikes lol

WFA = Worth fuck all (or hopefully not in this case Wink )

I reckon you can make one sexy road bike, and a very passable track bike from the other.

Cheers, I'm doing it up for a mate, whatever he decides to do with it is his problem Laughing I'm going to ask if I can keep what's left of ANG and turn it into a track bike, for me next year so I don't trash my own bike if nothing else Thumbs Up

I've made a little progress, got to work on it 8-10 after work today, not much, but I got some stuff done,

this is what it looks like, I've chenged the lockset and top yoke (this was stolen recovered, they trashed the yoke trying to break the barrel out)
https://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb73/sam_billing_91/Project%208421/asitstands.jpg

couple of the exhaust and inside the swing arm (cleaning work will begine properly on sunday)
https://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb73/sam_billing_91/Project%208421/exhaust1.jpg
https://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb73/sam_billing_91/Project%208421/insideofswinger.jpg

and this wheel should be white, the rear is just covered in brake dust and road grime Sick
