i *may* have just been pulled over by a coppa...

coming out of cambourne onto the a428 to cambridge, decided to gun it. was going around 90 when a bloke turns up along side me - cue me thinking 'he's going quick!'

then i saw the fluoro yellow... cue me thinking shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. i slow down, he pulls in front of me and pulls into a parking bay. he gets out, helmet off for me and i put on my best puppy eyes...

turns out he was a real nice bloke, biker too! let me off Cool told me to slow down a wee bit though Razz

nice one gaz.

cue cool story bro Laughing

I was hoping a certain member had posted that subject so I could concur without a doubt, but instead:

A428 is a great road for hitting higher speeds, may rethink that now though Embarassed

2/3rds of my Response team are bikers.

Traffic cops in London HAVE to have an M/C license.

If you're pulled over in London, they are pretty likely to be a biker.

What fucks me right off is that when police is trying to pull you over on motorway into laybay, they get infront of you and then fucking stamp on brakes, but then I understand that their little brains cannot understand the fact that bike has only got 2 wheels and 2 brakes instead of 4. Happened to me twice... Don't know if this have happened to anyone else.

Why's this? Due to the high number of motorcyclists?

I think they're planning to relax it, but it's something they've always done. I assume it's for flexibility reasons. Round by me they like to put solos out during the day to cover more ground, then cars out at night.
