iv been told u can get a twin powervalve for this bike?

Do twin powevalve even egsits?

what powervalve servo fit this bike? enging No. is a 2rk

I have no low end power then power from 7000 onwards (top speed about 85 mph) does this mean the powrevalve has been rotated fully open de-restricting the top end be restricing the bottom?

Thanks Guys

Hi

Dont know what other bikes power valves you could use, but cannot see what anyone means by "twin power valves". For the TZR there should be a servo motor with 2 cables going to the valve. One opens the valve and the other closes it. There used to be an exhaust valve available for 2 strokes that you welded onto the exhaust, but I havent seen one in years. The ideo of this was that you could use it to gain more bottom end power.

Also some people used to sell a kit for a lever on the handlebars to open and close the power valve. This way you could choose to have low down power or top end power as you rode along.

Yes, if the valve has been turned to the high rev position you will have little low down power and the engine will wake up at around 7000rpm. I would not say that it is "restricted" at low revs though, just that without the power valve servo motor you have a choice of bottom end power or top end power.

All the best

Keith
