im hopefully getting a VFR 400 soon and its in a bit of a state the plastics are tatty ect but im getting it for 600 quid soo i figured i could just repare them and get it resprayed..
its got to sets of plactics with it one beening the race set with single seat and the pillion seat is a hump simillair to Aprrilia rs250..
what i was wondering if any one knows of a nice replacement can that dosnt need the carb rejetted..
also dose anyone think it would be possilbe to cut into the pillon hump and make a seat almost set into the bike so my GF has a small backrest (Shes abit unsure on the back)..

and finally this may sound abit silly bu i was in the garage today just taking my moped apart for somthing to do and i thought has anyone ever turbo charged a bike?? (trys not to sound like a scally)

you could slap a super charger running off the crank, or turn the engine 180 decrees so air is forced into the carbs (or make some sort of air scope at the front running to the airbox Wink

For £600 I would not expect too much. Was it raced? If it has (face fairing suggests). It may have a race can on it already...

I put an ART carbon Fiber can on mine (cbr400 gullarm). It runs prefect, and going by that, it doesnt need re-jetting.

Dont quote me on that because all bikes are different and your bike, may quite possible need re-jetting. Thumbs Up
