hi there i need to change the front fork seals on my xt125r 58 reg is this a big job i have done it on a couple of other bikes but dont see where the oil goes on the top of the fork any help please

Just a thought...
After you have replaced your seal you could always refill it by the drain hole.

How are you intending on getting the seals off without taking the tubes & springs out?

They're not USDs, so just fill them up before you put the top cap back on like any other right way up fork.

i had a look on the top of the fork there is a rubber gromet i removed it but the top looked seald so i take it you have to take the fork off and drain oil from the bottom then replace the seals and fill it from the bottom aswell am i right in saying this any help please

Again, I've never even looked at one up close, but I'd be amazed if it isn't a standard, unscrew the top, pop the spring out, fart around with the damper bolt for 2 hours type fork.

Get the workshop manual from the sticky at the top of the forum. It reckons its in spanish, but you'll get the gist from the pictures.

there is no bolt at the top of the forks i took rummer gromet off to look and there was a flat metal plate which i tryed to move i done my gilera gougar 2 years ago it hat a bolt on top of forks it was easy i have orderd a workshop book so i will get it done when it comes
