The advert was deliberatly made so that the accident it showed was both road users fault. Unfortunatly it seems that car drivers think it was the riders fault, and riders think it was the car drivers fault, rather than looking at their own driving / riding.

By the way, under Belgian law (for example) the accident would be 100% the car drivers fault. Friend over there was in an accident just like this. Under their law the car turning right was performing a manoevre while the bike wasn't. That the bike is overtaking is irrelevant there.
