Yes folks of BCF its almost that time of year again. Last year saw quite a few of the BCF members heading down from the Ace Cafe and from Various other places in the UK so who's going to turn up this year?

I'll be leaving from Portsmouth as I did last year early and making my way straight down to Brighton. Last year we got there early enough to park up and watch the main group arrive from the Ace. Sadly I had to leave just before the BCF guys met up. I think I missed Molly, Clanger and the gang by about 20 minutes or so.

So this year I have taken the day off so looking forward to seeing any of the members that make it down.

Anyone wanting to head down from Pompy with me I'll be leaving from the services at Farlington, just off the A27 at around 8am to get there with plenty of time. Last year we left at the same time and there were already tons of bikes when we arrived in Brighton.

So who else is going?

I was thiking for those of you that met up with Tonks and Monkeyknuckle last year that we should all meet around the same place. IIRC it was on the beach in one of the cafe place outside eating areas. There was a HUGE slush puppy inflatable thingy above the cafe.

Sounds like a good opportunity to meet a few folk from here, anyone meeting at the ace or starting out from east london, I'm not the quickest rider but like the idea of riding down with some folk.

We usually head to Ace first, spend an hour or so there and ride out with the hoards of people from there.

You dont need to be fast to enjoy the ride, slower is definatley safer with that many bikes around you...

Well the past few years we have gone from Oxford area across to the Ace, then down to Brighton, then a few of us that are local to eachother headed back a scenic route up to Newbury and on towards Oxford again and IIRC I just managed to clock 300 miles last year!

I'd offer to come get you on the way past Clangy one but my nephew is coming over from Belfast so I'll be 2up already. Your welcome to sit on the handlebars though. Laughing

Thanks for the thought, the plan is to get some lovely person to ride over to mine for the weekend and bring me down for the day. Mr. Green Thumbs Up
