Hey peeps,

Long time no speak but hey... I'm back Twisted Evil

I'm starting to feel lazy with my bike and I'm also running through chains too quickly riding in London every day Sad

I've looked at the trusty Scotoiler, but I have also come across a Loobman?

https://www.chainoiler.co.uk/index.html

It's a fraction of the price of a Scotoiler, and looks simpler to use.

My queastion is, has anyone ever used one of these? Or perhaps someone recommend an alternative?

Cheers Smile

Hi

Think a few people have had problems with those ones breaking very easily.

All the best

Keith

With the loobman, the oil is run onto the sprocket via a couple of tie wraps, and while these have a tendency to break they are easily replaced. You squeeze the reservoir from time to time, and gravity does the rest, but it's easy to forget to squeeze it. Personally I think the scottoiler is worth the money, one it's adjusted properly it really makes a difference, I've got nearly 22k on my bike, and the original chain is just on it's way out.
