I have my theory tomorrow. And im not looking to the Hazard Perception part at all! Done it before for my driving license, But any tips? Smile

Tips - don't go all clickly happy. lick when you see what you thin is the danger and then click again about 0.5 to 1 sec later just to be sure it registers just in case you clicked a bit too early.

Try to look as far down the road as possible and it will help see possible dangers occurring.
For instance, the one I vividly remember from mine was on a country lane, going up a slight hill. At top of the hill is a parked car on a blind bend. In the distance I spot the top of a white van heading towards me. I bet you can guess what happened next?

The town centre ones have a lot more going on so just stay focussed and be ready to click.

Not strictly true. The hazard perception test is the same as for cars (which is total bollocks, if you are TOO perceiving of hazards you will be failed for a clip.)

The multiple choice part is at least half motorcycle themed questions. For example:

You are carrying a pillion passenger, you should possibly adjust which of the following?

1. Your indicators.
2. The fairing.
3. The headlights.
4. Your exhaust.


I was all like lolwut? I dun read this in the highway code! I asked the woman after the test, 'why is there non highway code questions in here?'. To which she replied 'did you revise the DSA book of test questions?'. To this I thought 'wait, is this a test on the highway code or the DSA book of test questions?' 'Is this some kind of money generating mafia run scam? Has anyone considered reporting the DSA to the monopolies commission yet?'. I then asked how this fits in with the 2012 change that questions would no longer be published?' she said 'lol, I dunno'.

Another thumbs up for all4bikers.com, i practiced near enough every day for a week with that site = got 49/50 actual test.

Just revise it, put the effort in and you'll cruise through.

Okay im rather worried now. So the Disc which is bought from most supermarkets dosent cover the questions on the test for motorcycles? I have been answer motorcycle questions alot though.

Can anyone answer this please before I take my test tomorrow morning,

OK, so soon enough you gonna have to change your Forum name Very Happy

Don't know if this will ever come up for someone else but the only question (pretty much) that came up that I had never seen on all the online practice tests for me was this:

If you are parked on a 2 lane road/carriageway, how should you get on the bike?
It listed loads of stupid ways like:
1. Right side, foot on rear brake.
2. Right side, hold front brake.

and so on.

Obviously answer is:
Left side, holding front brake.

That is the only question I never came across on the https://www.all4bikers.com/theory/index.php

Seriously, anyone that wants to pass, use all4bikers and get that result, all the questions and answers are pretty much there Thumbs Up

In my view, the theory test is a big pile of poop, designed for two things. Money making and to show the the UK is trying to prevent accidents from the 'yoof' of today. Our consecutive governments have been trying to work out how to reduce accidents, and figure that a multiple choice asking stupid questions followed by a crap arcade game is the best way to do it. However, a kiddie can still get on a ped at 16, do his cbt and STILL be a pain in the arse, cause or have an accident and never done any of the Theory gubbins. I think I could be right in saying that the highest accident age group is still the kids?

Have you looked into getting the The Complete Motorcycle Theory and Hazard Perception Tests 2015 Edition (if you google it you'll see prices for Amazon etc I bought mine off eBay for about £7) - it's a disc which has loads of practice tests (you can do these online for free on different sites) but also lots of practice hazard perception tests. I found it really helpful

Oh I don't know, don't you think knowing the maximum speed that a mobility scooter travels at makes you safer on a bike? (seriously, this was one of the questions when I did mine).

All I used was a £1.99 app to practice a week before and I passed on Tuesday 48/50. No need to get anything expensive.
