I have a 1989 NSR. The fork seals are leaking, but the problems is that the forks do not appear to be standard. The forks are Showa, where would I get a set of fork seals for these?

What makes you say that they are Showa forks?

The chances are that if its cos there are stickers on them then thats all it is - stickers. I've seen quite a few imported NSR's with Showa stickers on the bog stock forks.

Its quite likely that all NSR's have Showa forks.

Showa make pretty much all Honda suspension afaik. Thumbs Up

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Except the NSR was designed and built in Italy, mainly for the Italian market and used a large percentage of Italian sourced components to avoid import duty. Only the last NSR used Showa forks, most had Marzocchi forks and shock.

All the best

local honda dealers, expect to pay £7.50 each for them. fork oil is about £6 per bottle, and make sure you have some way of getting the front wheel out
