Suzuki en 125 engine revving on its own!

Hi, new to the bike scene, just got my first 125, a suzuki en 125 2005.

Im starting to notice a problem with it..

When it is warmed up the engine revs up on its own to about 5000+ rpm, then will drop back down... and it repeats this!

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Check the inlet rubbers for air leaks.

An easier way to check for air leaks is to start the engine and then spray wd40 around the carbs and inlet rubbers etc. If the engine note changes then you have an air leak somewhere in that area Thumbs Up
