 |
|
Hi everybody, (hi doctor nick )
Just wondering if anyone knows of a cheap GPS for a motorbike and where to get it (either online or local to Hampshire?), English maps only are fine.
Its for my job, i have to go out to customers some times and most of the time I've no idea where they are so I'm stopping every 2-3 miles to check the map on my phone.
any help greatly appreciated,
regards,

Well first off for the GPS you will have to make sure you have a lighter socket, can be gotten off ebay or other places like amazon.
This socket below has got some good reviews from this site recently, purchased one myself yesterday and it arrived today so fast delivery (normal postage)

You can also get a large range of sat navs of ebay, most common preferred sat navs for motorbikes is either the garmin or tom-tom. Myself I'm going towards the garmin satnavs as I don't trust tom-tom. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Another vote for "anything, pocket, earphone". I use a single flat over-ear phone. Satnav should only ever be a hint anyway, keep your attention on the road. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

You gotta love BCF! Thanks to "jordanmoore" I now know that I have an audio feature sat nav on my Android phone. I just have to get a 12v charger socket for my bike and some headphones then I'm sorted! ____________________ CB250 Nighthawk |
