cancled my insurance on the drz 400 i had to send them a letter to cancel it as they dont do it over the phone..

my insurence cos £200 for the year..i cancled it after 4 months becuse they weanted £700 to insure my ktm 200

so the money i get back they take 75% from it what leaves me with £48 and they take that becuse i canceld it and want £8 to go with the £48 for canceling it...

they did not even tell me this when i cancled it..
it would of been easyer to just let the insurence run

We have been here so many times before......

Don't like it.

Then complain to the company. Then raise with the FSA and also copy in body that looks into unfair charges & T/C

And a quick pointer. Bottom right is a spell checker. Makes it so much easier to understand post Karma

Charges a bit higher than normal, but nothing too out of the ordinary.
You would have been told to check your insurance documents and would have had the right to cancel without excessive charges.
These days they often let you see the policy document before buying too!

Financial Ombudsman Service.

They'll almost certainly knock it back because the only statutory protection that you enjoy is during the first 14 days. After that, it's purely a contractual matter, and you obviously didn't read yours.

The contract may be so egregiously unfair that a court would void it. Are you prepared to go that far? Surprise us.
