I wanted the can stubbying on my ER5 but having just inspected it, it's been smashed and plated before and the underside of it is a bit of a mess.

How would I fit another can? A louder one?

Would I need to grind the other one off and slide another one on?

Just a tad confused because i've seen ER5's with loud exhausts but mine doesn't seem to unbolt or anything.

Cheers guys,
Steve.

You need to cut the original can off just behind the weld and fit a slip on can with an ID of 60mm on. Alternatively, weld a flange on and use a bolt on can.

Forgive my ignorance - how do you fit a slip on then? Does it literally just 'slip on' and bolt to the passenger peg hangery thing?

you sure it's 60mm? bike in question is a 1998 A2, R Reg.

Reckon I'll go ahead with this! Very Happy
