What does it for me is around December/ January, when transport has consisted of the car or the crappy winter hack for what seems like ages, waking up to a glorious bright and sunny, but crisp and cool day (rare, but there's always a couple). The giddy excitement of digging the 'proper' leathers out and wheeling my baby out to exploit what may be the only decent day for another couple of months. Then arriving home 8 hours later frozen to the core but grinning like a twat. Very Happy Thumbs Up

Riding into Stratford on the way to the Bulldog bash, and finding yourselves surrounded by hundreds of other bikes. Then riding through the town and out to the drag strip in the middle of that pack.
The colours, the noise, the gobsmacked look on tourists faces....... Fantastic Very Happy

Wheelies.

Haven't found a buzz bigger than when you pull off your longest wheelie yet, also when car drivers cheer you on or give you a thumbs up after a wheelie.

The traffic on the A40 between Oxford and Cheltenham. Lots of fun overtaking....
To think I used to hate driving my car down there!
In fact traffic jams in general make me happy. Best advert ever for getting a bike.
There was a beauty on the A3 yesterday took about 5 minutes longer than normal to get home. Housemate turns up ranting and raving as he's almost an hour late getting home. He's even more keen then ever to do his test. Thumbs Up

That childish 'inner giggle' that creeps out when some tit in a 'body kitted' Gti/ XR3/ or similar pulls along side you at the lights and starts revving his engine. Laughing Laughing Twisted Evil

Jokes aside, that is and probably always will be what makes a great experience.

That riding a bike in traffic is an act of totally focused concentration, such that even if you wanted to, you can't really think about anything else other than riding your bike. It just clenses the mind.

Unlike when you're in a car when you can totally switch off and found you've driven miles without quite knowing how while wondering about the new colour scheme for your kitchen...

Seconded, there is no better buzz than doing a longer/higher wheely/stoppy!
