Personally, don't think you can beat those colours, never been as nice an HRC colourscheme since either. Seems kinda cheap based on the "future classic" market ridiculousness going on at the moment

Without doubt my RR-W was the best bike I've ever ridden. Would sell my kids to get another one.

I am not fussed for after market cans, but I'd probably want to change that one to a stainless end can. Not a fan of the black! Other than that it looks lovely.

quite like this one as well but i have never been overly keen on the shape.

I am tempted by a Blade for sale near me actually. It's a new-style on in the Repsol colours, very tempted as they are essentially my favourite when it comes to Blades. That and the Hannspree-esque scheme.

The only scheme better on Blades?

Thumbs Up!

Wouldn't mind a 900 or 918 Blade in future shame they're starting to go for stupid money it seems by the time I can afford and insure one they'll be pricier to buy and run.

For a blade though Castrol and HRC colours look the sex, Repsol just seems a bit too common, undecided about the Hannspree colours though Thinking

Proper bike that is.

I know what you mean about the shapes of the newer blades, they seemed to go downhill 2008 onwards... Too curvy.

My first Blade was an 'Urban Tiger' (as that colour-scheme was named) and it wasn't bettered for me until my Repsol RR7. Which isn't to say my two RRWs weren't stonking too.

The problem with the current Blades is their size, more like 600s than 1000s. I looked like a gonk on the RR7.

Is that the one with the girls face on the side? I got a chub when I first saw that in the local Honda dealers. That is until I got closer to realise the circles each have "CBR" in them and the black 'smudge' on the side is actually a girls head. Nearly threw up from the tackiness.

As mentioned, best Blade schemes have been the Castrol (even sexier in the flesh), HRC, Hanspree and this 954 colour scheme:

Lovely. Had an RRW a few years and it was by far best all round bike I've ridden. Much prefer it to the 929/954.

So I'm having a mint 8k mile RRW delivered on Monday. Very Happy
