Salutations all.

The GPz 305 is running fine, just not starting so well.
When I try & crank it, the starter motor does a little half turn and then gives up trying. The relay clicks everytime and the motor does at least something each time.
I'll try another battery tonight to see if I can rule that out, just quite annoying as I'm selling the bike this weekend and I don't want it to die again the moment I leave!

Thanks for any help.

Benson.

I'd suspect a bad battery from that, then a poor earth connection, then a bad starter, then goblins.

Thanks Roger, knew I could count on a fellow GPz305 rider. Laughing

Will see if the Battery from the CBR cranks her over. Thumbs Up

Eh, as soon as the blizzard here slackens off a bit, I'll likely slap mine on Gumtree. Wink

License has upgraded, I need to make room in the garage. The bike is actually going fine, which is surprising considering some of the horror stories. Wink

Hmm, good question, it's got short MOT and tax on it, and it's borderline whether it's worth me renewing them. I'll likely put it up at £400 fixed price, more if I end up re-MOTing ("it'll sail through, mate.."[1]) and taxing it.

[1] It'll need a dust seal renewing, I have the part, but not worth my time, etc. Wink
