Can any one help me ive got a vfr nc24 400 and as im driving along or change up gear there is a loss of power like its going to cut out unless i change back down a gear ive put a new vacuum pipe on it as the old one was split made no difference what so ever need HELP or it shall be going on ebay Sad

You need to check a few basic things.

1.) That the exhaust is in good condition, is not blocked and has no holes.

2.) That the air filter is in good condition and is not blocked.

NC24's have comparatively complex engines. The problem you describe sounds like it could be fuelling related, but its difficult to tell without doing some more diagnosis.

The exhaust if ok and the air filter looks good and not blocked and more tips guys its realy doing my head in Sad

mine had a really annoying problem that used to do the same!!!

- the CDI used to unplug itself! but only enough to make it misfire or loose power, and a sudden jerk could make it be just enough plugged in to work as normal!!!

Carb rubbers are also a biggy with the nc24
