Recently, I've started experiencing some pain in my left knee when I fully bend it back/try and put any weight on it, when bent back. I'm guessing this has something to do with biking as the pain is worse when I've been riding more.

Also, the last two long rides I've been on (Sheffield to Leicester) I've got some serious numbness in my hands lasting long after getting off the bike, like 30 minutes afterwards!

I'm only 22! I shouldn't be experiencing this Crying or Very sad

ZZR 600. I try and stay as loose as possible on the bike. Not entirely sure what to do.

Stop tensing up and be natural on the bike. After a ride let your emotions out, crying is not unmanly and I am sure your BF will understand.

That's a bit harsh.... they could cry together.

Seriously though... I found that my wrists and arms went numb after a bit on the bike.... but my heart bypass sorted that out Thumbs Up

Think it's bad now. Wait until you turn 30.

However, try adjusting your levers, you could be holding your hands and feet at odd angles. I see so many people with their brake and clutch lever in odd positions. They should fall naturally under your open fingers.

Also check how you're sleeping with regard to your hands. I started noticing numbness in my hands at around that age and it turned out to be early stages of carpal tunnel syndrome because I was sleeping with my wrists flexed. I conciously trained myself not to.
