I'm going to my uni bike society's meet today after being invited by a guy. Only 4 of us are going in total.

But I have a 125cc bike...

Will they be frustrated?

If they are real bikers they will ensure you don't get left behind. If the leave you on your own, they're not the kind of folks you want to be riding with... In my humble opinion

These gatherings seem like a great way to plug the national deficit. I'm surprised the camera van isn't right outside the site rather than 200 metres down the road...

Haha, North Yorkshire cops have employed an unmarked GSXR to patrol and look out for speeding (61+mph!?) Gotta be the best job you could have in the police, riding around on a sportsbike you didn't pay for. Only downside is the abuse you're going to get for such a foul, callous, bastardising trick to fine people.
