What style do people use? It's purely for garage use, initially on a 125 but hopefulyl ultimately on a bigger SM.

I've seen a few build threads using this style:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Alloy-Stand-Motocross-MX-Stand-Enduro-Dirt-Bike-Supermoto-SM-Trials-Lift-/300703394446?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item460351aa8e

But the idea of a lift is tempting (unless its completely uneccessary?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BIKETEK-MOTOCROSS-ENDURO-MOTO-TRAILS-BIKE-MX-LIFT-STAND-/380408718918?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5892206646

What would folk recommend?

Cheers

I used the style like the 2nd one on both my mx bikes. they work great and saves lifting the gits onto the stand. For that extra £2 it's worth it I'd say. Thumbs Up

It is if they work ok and dont end up just being an overly heavy fixed stand Razz Is yours fairly easy to use/reliable/not broken I assume?

I bought 3 second-hand stands similar to the one in your second link, though the ones that I bought have swivel tops so that the bike can be turned if necessary whilst on the stand. I paid around £15 for each stand and they appear to be better quality than the one in your link.
If you're not in a big rush, you will probably drop on one on The Bay. This one looks promising:-

My Duke 11 weighs in at around 155kgs when fuelled up and is easily lifted and supported by this type of stand. The Adventurer is around 9 kgs heavier than the Duke but I doubt that this would be a problem.
