Things what I have done...

Totally stripped the calipers and rebuilt with new rubbers & seals.
New discs and pads (EBC).
Put the original master-cylinder on.
New hoses up front (in tart red).
Painted the rear-caliper torque-arm tart red.
Wet & Dried and polished multiple corroded aluminium bits.
New can (oh god, nicking ahoy! Shocked ).
Solved misfire (airbox lid wasn't on properly.

It's bloody fast and goes around corners, sweet. Very Happy

Looks good apart from the red hoses and torque-arm, they look out of place.

They give it a bit of technical colour, which I find pleasing to mine eye. Cool

The original after-market system is a titanium Arata but the can was like a howitzer barrel, looked shite and didn't sound much better. The new can is carbon and SS.

Now that's a seat my buttocks would be happy with. Jury's out on the red brake hose, but it does draw the eye a bit.

Slower/safer and more comfortable than a sportsbike. I kind of figured I might have a greater chance of survival on something like this but I can't help hooning it. Neutral

Think I would have used blue for the torque arm and brake lines instead of the red, but that's obviously a very minor point.
The bike looks sweeeet!!! and I'd be VERY happy to own and ride it Thumbs Up

Not really a fan of the exhaust (breaks the classic look), but otherwise it's a real looker.

It's the standard one with extra bracing welded on and a powder-coat finish.

I find i ride the same whatever im on :/, you just put less effort into the bike to go quicker the faster bike you get.

I quite fancy a Superduke or Hypermotard as a next bike though Razz

Just done an oil & filter change, the shit that came out was nearly black. Sad Put in some luverly Castrol 10/40 fully synthetic race oil. Smile

I had to remove most of the exhaust to get the non-cartridge filter out.

Nice bike ! I likes the red bits too.

I think the swingball pole sticking out of the fairing is both daring and innovative, but might get in the way Wink

Always fancied one of those, that's a real nice example. Why the 1100 and not the 1200 though?

There were no 1200s that caught my eye like this one, and the price for this was good I think. Smile
