I have a mesh jacket for a hot day. But I usually get cold in the evening. Or on motorway. Don't you think difficult when to wear mesh jacket? Do you wear mesh jacket on hot day?

Yep, otherwise I'd get really hot Smile

I do carry it's waterproof lining, for the just in case. Unless I'm only on a shortish ride Smile

Waterproof lining on mesh jacket is a nice idea! Thanks.

I've got a Spada Air Mesh pro.

Works great, and it nice and cool.

it comes with a windproof/waterproof jacket too that is tucked away in rear pocket. I just put that on when it's cold.

I've got a mesh jacket I use when its the summer (so not at the moment Sad ) but usually keep a hoodie and waterproof cover in my top box if its a longer ride incase it gets chilly. One of the best things I bought for the bike as its much better than sweating buckets in 20+ heat!

A good quality textile that breaths when hot, contracts when cold,, is water proof, and has vents works better for me and i can wear the jacket all seasons. But then you pay top end prices, like equal to buying a winter and summer jacket.

I ride with mine when it is 35 C and when 1 C. And in downpours for hours and I was dry inside with no liner.

They seem very expensive, btu then figure you buy one not 2. I have cheaper jackets but you are never a s cool in summer or warm in winter, and if it rains, you will get wet.

Wear a lady's stocking over your head. A stocking will block a lot of windchill.

Thumbs Up

I went out for a run today. Merino base layer, shirt, warm socks, leathers.

After 10 minutes, I stopped and put on my waterproofs just to get another layer.

5 minutes later, I flipped the heated grips on and pulled my neck roll up over my face.

5 minutes after that, I'd had enough and headed home for a hot bath.

Urgh. Just... urgh.

The daftest purchase I've ever made was a pair of Diadora vented boots last "summer". I think I've worn them 4, maybe 5 times.

Here it stands for Bring My Wallet.

never heard the above. A darkie on a BMW bike is very very rare here. But they do love the BMW cages. With tinted windows.

I thought it was Break My Windows in SA as mostly Whites were the only ones able to afford BMWs.
With the end of Apartheid things are much better now as the ANC has vastly improved on the country's economy as a whole...

it is break my window as well, due to the penchant of the darkies to hijack them...But that is for the bmw cages

Ummm, our Rand went from stronger than the dollar to 8:1. Jobs are declining.... A handful of fat cat black diamonds enriched themselves. The segment below the poverty line has increased.

Well - on BCF - you have black mans wheels, so either sell the bike, or stop being a racist cunt. Idea Mr. Green

Given that british police also ride BMW bikes, and they are fond of using the N word, I think it is good company.

I see British police also have a good deal of common sense

I guess if you deal with crime, you will deal with the people who per capita commit more than anyone else.
