I live in a city that is a maze of one way only roads and can be a pian to get around.

We have a lot of old roads around here that can only be used by people but cars are clearly blocked by bollards.

However there are no signs to show that vehicles are not allow and so am i allowed to be driving down these streets on my bike like I often do or is this breaking the law?

The "no cycling" sign on the left would make me think that no, you can't ride your motorcycle down there. Thumbs Up

Only people allowed to drive in a pedestrian area is emergency and the local council to clean up. Some have times where you can make deliveries.

Go for it Thumbs Up

The other thing you can do is speak to your local council who will have a "rights of way" officer who should be able to give you the vehicular access rights for every road/track/path in your area Thumbs Up

Unless you live down there...

NO.

Pretty sure that is defining a pedestrian only area.

Correct however if you are dropping goods off to a shop between the delivering hours or you are an emergency vehicle then you are safe to go.

If none of them apply then no you will get a rollicking.

That, and ask to see the traffic order that removed the rights of way - if they did remove them.

If not, get your documentation in order and then prepare for your Section 59 reaming.

Where is that?
It looks like a street in Leicester, I used to have to park in to pick Snowie up a few times.

Good guess!
Google Maps link
Used the partial shop name "arrie Stephen" to find it Smile
It's New Walk, off King Street. Definitely a pedestrian only area. Not even open to cyclists as too many prats were wazzing down there, was a nasty few incidents where pedestrians were injured.

Wouldn't call it a road myself, just a street.
