Jusst a quick question, riding the CBR below 4k it runs really lumpy and sounds like its bogging? its all standard apart from a Jardine RT-01 back-box, any ideas?
would you really need a Power Commander for just an exhaust? it runs fine above 5k.

You don't say what year? Obvious 1st thing to do is fit the stock exhaust and see if it improves. If you don't have that, check all the vac lines from the throttle bodies to the sensors. It sounds like the MAP/APS sensor signal line is off.

I must say, mine doesn't run particularly wonderful at 3k revs, I tend to sit at 3k revs in 6th in town but i wouldn't dream of opening it up at that... nothing happens Very Happy

Yeaa I know Inline 4's shouldn't really be driven idling but surely the fueling is dodgy if it bogs? its not even trying to open it up, its just keeping the throttle in the same position it just bogs and dosen't feel too good. Other than 3/half - 4k revs its fine.

I think any IL4 is going to bog in 4th gear at below 4k tbh.
