It's pretty fucking epic IMO! Only second to a 500mx'er with savage porting lol!

Yeah your next project should be a road legal IL4 enduro dude!
It's an answer to a question I've been asking for a long time really. I can't see why we cant have some 70-100bhp 3 and 4pot Supermoto bikes for the road, with a proper Enduro based chassis and comfort level.

The Aprilia SVX550 is the nearest modern bike to that genre so far, but something like an R6 engine in a competition SM chassis would be just about perfec for silly road only uset! Laughing

I have seen a KMX400 once with a GSXR400 engine that was a nice build, but my favourite ever Supermotard probably forever was a DR800 big chassis with an RG500 engine, that's the sort of bike Suzuki should have in the Showrooms now instead of a V-strom or other half assed nonsense!

I used too have a cr500 Af and that was quicker of the start , but once in to second and third the gsx left the cr , (only on straights lol) Twisted Evil

I am looking for the 750 engine as it will fit straight in

Not sure what else too biuld yet , have been looking at r1 and other 1000's but most are water cooled , its hard finding room for the rads etc.. on a mx bike frame

thanks for comments

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Yes, this thread illustrates what I mean perfectly. The process of making this modification was not easy. It required lots of cutting and measuring and fabricating.

My sig is aimed at people who think a blackbird engine will slot into their Derbi Senda "Innit".
