Right wing politics when it gets extreme is always based on race or country. It becomes an 'us against them' scenario. No wonder the Greeks are turning to the right, they must feel totally isolated and distraught at what is happening to their country and lifestyle.

The other thing you get with extreme right wing politics is action, it may not be the best action but at least something happens and that's what people in crisis need, to see something happening. Committees and parliaments are like oil tankers, bloody slow to change course, dictatorships are not because one man pulls the strings and what he says goes.

Left wing politics has never had the patriotism punch of the right, it is the politics of intellectuals who love debating but haven't got the balls to do anything other than talk.

Except that Adolf was a leftie, with social upliftment programmes, big government, focus on the whole rather than the individual, wealth redistribution, nationalise banks, and all the traditional leftie agendas. He got things going. So not all lefties are are just blah blah talk.

It seems like the right wing is on the rise everywhere in europe. I guess people have had enough of the liberal multiculti we are all the same garbage. It has only brought economic and political decline. Celebrate diversity means celabrate collapse and decay. Even the russians have given up on the idea of socialist brotherhood. How many european leaders have said multiculti has been a failure? only the most blinded liberal can still believe this frankfurt school BS.

Maybe he was, but he used traditional right wing rhetoric and social manipulation to get himself in power, stay there and pull the country out of the economic mire it was in.

I dunno, have you asked a priest? They're the ones who work in the huge cathedrals that we built and get all their expenses paid in return for mumbling spells to save us from the threat that they created.

The greeks take the piss with massive social programs, huge public spending funded by colossal borrowing and when the piss up party ends many of the offenders decide to blame anyone but themselves.

Nice and easy to blame foreigners or some other outgroup than face up to your fuckup.
